Security & IT

Live support from our team
Our staff monitor the condition of incoming trailers in real time, keep track of area utilization, assist in locating drivers, and can access detailed information such as unit or wagon numbers when required. This ensures a secure, transparent, and seamless process throughout terminal operations.
Check-in
All units are digitally recorded upon arrival in order to immediately identify any potential damage and to verify that the corresponding booking is available in the system. This ensures a transparent and structured process starting directly at the terminal entrance.
Trailer parking area
The trailer parking area at Ziel Terminal is designed as a secured zone and is fully integrated into the terminal’s security and access control concept. It provides a controlled environment for the short- or medium-term parking of trailers.
Camera system
The entire terminal site, including all relevant areas, is monitored by modern camera systems. This allows us to track the movement of units and vehicles, safeguard operational processes, and ensure security across the site at all times.
Train recording
All incoming and outgoing trains are recorded and documented upon arrival and departure. This makes it possible to trace the condition in which trains enter the terminal and to identify any irregularities. This precise recording ensures clear processes, transparency, and reliable documentation.
Cross Docking
With our cross-docking service, Ziel Terminal offers an efficient solution for the direct handling of palletized goods. Incoming goods are transferred directly from one means of transport to the next without interim storage. This reduces transport times, streamlines processes, and accelerates goods flows in a targeted manner.
This service is particularly suitable for time-critical shipments and for companies that rely on clearly defined processes and fast onward distribution of their goods.

Mobile wheelset replacement
Ziel Terminal provides a suitable and designated area on the terminal site for mobile wheelset replacement (MRST) on wagons. The wheelset replacement can be carried out directly on site, without additional shunting movements or external relocations.
This additional service supports rail customers in efficiently integrating necessary technical work into existing transport processes. By providing the required area directly at the terminal, time expenditure and organizational interfaces are significantly reduced.
